Current Projects
Brian has two feature-length screenplays on the market (CRISPIN, THE RHAYNE PROJECT) and two others in progress (NEAR KISANGANI, THE IRISHMAN). He is also developing a television documentary with Vancouver's GoldStar Productions (DEFYING GRAVITY) and producing the first Victoria International Arts Symposium (Artists of Conscience • October 27-30, 2006 • www.VictoriaArtsSymposium.com).
Past Projects
Brian's screenplay, LIES LIKE TRUTH (a psychological thriller in the film-noir tradition), won the 2003 Reel Edge Project from The New VI/CHUM TV. LIES LIKE TRUTH was produced by Gumboot Productions (Producer: Peter Campbell - Director: Michael Bateman), and premiered at the 2005 Victoria Independent Film & Video Festival.
Brian is perhaps best known as the creator of the world famous Edmonton Fringe Theatre Event. The artistic vision and administrative system Brian developed for the Fringe has been adapted in nearly every major city across Canada and several in the United States.
Brian is also the author of eight stage plays for young people, and has written extensively for radio, television, video and new media.
